Service Description
Are you looking to improve your running? Perhaps you are aiming for a new PB, are taking on a new distance, or just want to avoid injury and keep enjoying your runs! Using The Running School® methodology we will complete a full assessment including a mat-based Functional Movement Assessment and Biomechanical (gait) Analysis on the treadmill. You will be taken through your videos and feedback and shown how your running technique could be improved to become more efficient, helping you to avoid injury and run further and faster - should you want to! You will then have the option to book on for a course of Running Technique coaching should you wish.
Cancellation Policy
The 6 session blocks are subject to a 12 week expiry. If you are injured and need to delay your sessions please discuss with your coach. If you do not wish to continue after the first 2 sessions, you can request a 50% refund to the value of the remaining sessions. Sessions are not transferable to any other person. Your initial appointment involves a detailed Biomechanical Assessment using video analysis, the clips are available at your request. Please ensure that you are appropriately attired to run on the treadmill. The CRTS will ask detailed questions regarding your injury, health and sporting histories. Please answer these to the best of your ability to gain the most from your programme. Coaching will be based on the findings of the BMA and your goals. It will involve treadmill running, strength exercise prescription, and sometimes outdoor runs. To get the most out of your programme you will need to complete homework to practice the technique and associated exercises/drills.
